Like a galloping pony as it heads towards the final hurdles of the Kentucky Derby, Galveston Pirates NPSL schedule nears completion as yet another set of fixtures have been confirmed.
The latest home and away matches to hit the fixture list sees the Pirates face off against Texas South Devils, home at Weis Stadium on May 26th, away down at McAllen on June 2nd.
This match sees another piece of the NPSL South Central jigsaw come together as time until the starting kickoff speeds towards us like a speeding bullet.
"This match gives us the chance to test ourselves against an altogether unknown entity in the Devils." said Pirate coach Brendan Keyes.
"We don't know an awful lot about them but between now and then, we will be scouring for information regards their team to make sure we are ready to face them. There are plenty of YouTube videos of them so that's a good place to start for us to scout them and see how they set themselves up and play."
This match follows on from the announcement of the local rivalry match against the Regals SCA and with the match schedule starting to hot up, it's hoped that the remaining fixtures and opponents in the NPSL South Central Cup will be finalised over the next few days.
